I Teacher Expectations
Daily routines at school and at home are important to establish and maintain.
Please set an appointment to see me if there is a concern.
II Homework Binder – All students received a binder to keep their homework inside neatly. Students need to bring binder daily with their homework, and any letters signed.
Supplies- Students need to have a backpack, pencils, erasers, and crayons
Worksheets-Students need to write first name and last name on all sheets. Students need to complete all sides of worksheets using their best neat printing.
Homework is daily Monday – Thursday. (See cover sheet of blue binder for daily assignments.)
Students will receive a new Spelling/Vocabulary list every week. Students need to continue reviewing words from previous weeks. Vocabulary words from the week prior will be tested again the following week.

Oral presentation–Occasionally, students will prepare an oral presentation on a given topic. I will send a sheet with an explanation of the topic and the date for presentation.
Science Fair Project- Students will prepare a science experiment and oral presentation. Due date to follow.
Multi-Culture Performance- Room 13 and 6. Students will perform dressed in an outfit representing a country in the month of May.

*Parents will be notified by a letter when your child is missing assignments.
*Incomplete homework will be completed at recess.

Students will receive stickers or a treat for good behavior/and excellent work

EVERY MINUTE COUNTS. PLEASE BRING YOUR CHILD EVERYDAY AND ON TIME. WHEN A CHILD LEAVES EARLY IT WILL BE DOCUMENTED IN THEIR ATTENDANCE RECORD.
We will only have two parties (Winter holiday in December and end of the year in June). The school policy is to not celebrate a student’s birthday during school.
